First Nations Drummers
We were very fortunate to have First Nations drummers, Darrell Brown and Christopher Demas come to Waskada School on Wednesday, Feb 14th. They played for the K-4 class and demonstrated their music. At the end of their performance, some children were able to go and learn how to play the drums along side them. It was a great learning experience for all!!!
High School Fishing trip
Six students headed up north to Balsam Bay to the ice fishing championships. There was a great turn out with just under 700 kids competing. We fell short, but are looking forward to next years championship!
